King Tuts Could Be A SELLOUT...!!!
by alanmckim - Apr 15th, 16:26Hi Everyone,
N E W S
King Tuts Could Be A Sellout!
I was contacted today by King Tuts to say that, due to the ticket sales of each act, there may not be many tickets left for sale over the bar, on the night. The last few tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis so it's best to get there as early as possible to make sure you get a ticket. Alternatively, you could buy them online at ticketmaster or over the King Tuts bar any day before Saturday.
I know I've told a lot of people they would definitely be able to get tickets on the night, so I'm really sorry about this, I honestly didn't expect the demand to be as high.
Aftershow Party at BOX
Box in Glasgow's Sauchiehall Street have kindly allowed me to have a wee Aftershow Party on Saturday night, after the King Tuts gig. It's free entry until midnight and £1 after that, however if you give them your King Tuts ticket you'll also get in for free after midnight!
Everyone's invited!!!

AFTERSHOW PARTY for re-scheduled King Tuts gig!
by alanmckim - Jan 25th, 03:54Hi Everyone,
I'm pleased to let you all know that Craig McGee from King Tuts has asked me if I'd like to host my aftershow party at his already scheduled Club Night. The fun will be happening at The Admiral Bar after the gig and those with a King Tuts ticket get in for only £2 (usually £4)!
Open 'til 3am!
Everyone's invited!!!

King Tuts Ticket info.
I've been told that anyone who bought a ticket from the bar at the last Tuts gig have got to get a refund from the bar and then buy a new ticket (if you'd like to come to the re-scheduled gig). Seems a bit silly to be honest but hopefully it won't cause you to much inconvenience. I've been assured that there will be enough tickets on the night to swap but the sooner you get them the better.
Anyone who bought a ticket directly from me for the gig can swap their ticket with me anytime before the gig or even on the night. I will be playing tonight (Friday 25th January) at the official 'Moloko' Opening night (used to be called 'Base') at around 8pm then up at Russell's at 9:30pm. I'll have tickets on me if anyone who bought tickets from me would like to swap. I think it might be invitation only to 'Moloko' but I have a stack of free passes if anyone would like to come, just contact me!
Remember, you can still get tickets for the gig online at ticketmaster or over the bar at King Tut's.
Hope you can all still make it to the re-scheduled gig!
Also on the bill that night will be Burlesque Performer 'Lou Hickey' from Glasgow and 'Alice & the Majesty' all the way from London. Both girls are great singer/songwriters and are well worth checking out.
When - Friday 1st February
Doors - 8:30pm
Thanks again for your ongoing support!

KING TUTS re-scheduled!!!
by alanmckim - Jan 19th, 05:45Happy New Year Everyone,
Hope you all enjoyed the festivities and have a terrific 2008!
Apologies for not updating sooner but I am pleased to confirm that King Tut's have offered me a re-scheduled headline gig on FRIDAY 1st FEBRUARY!
I have been given a replacement 100 tickets so if you still have your ticket for the cancelled gig then I can swap it with you for a new one. If that makes sense. Basically, if you came to the last King Tut's gig you can come to the next one for FREE!
Please contact me to arrange a convenient time to swap tickets!
I'm waiting for Tut's to confirm but I think anyone who bought a ticket over the bar will be able to take their old tickets to the gig and swap them over the bar on the night.
Unfortunately this means that I have no more tickets for sale, however you will still be able to get them from ticketmaster or from the bar at King Tut's.
Hope you can all make it to the re-scheduled gig!
Doors - 8:30pm
Also on the bill that night will be Burlesque Performer 'Lou Hickey' from Glasgow and 'Alice & the Majesty' all the way from London. Both girls are great singer/songwriters and are well worth checking out.
Thanks for your ongoing support!
